How to get to Hilsea Lido
By bus
Buses 2, 3, 7, 8, 18, 20, 23 and 700 all stop at the Hilsea Lido bus stop. The 700 Coastliner is a great option if you’re coming from Brighton or Chichester.
By train
Cosham station is around a 15 minute walk and Hilsea station is around a 25 minute walk
Parking at Hilsea Lido
There are a small number of free parking spaces on-site, including accessible bays, but these are extremely limited. We encourage green travel and public transport wherever possible.
Important: Please do not park on double yellow lines or on the grass verges at Hilsea Lido. Vehicles parked in these areas may be issued with parking tickets.
Alternative parking
Village Hotel Portsmouth
Additional parking may be available at Village Hotel Portsmouth, Lakeshore Drive, Cosham, Portsmouth PO6 3FR. This is approximately a 9-minute walk from Hilsea Lido. Parking is free for up to 4 hours. £10 thereafter between Monday and Thursday. £5 per day on Friday to Sunday. Penalty charges apply at all times.
